Stawberries are in season in Indiana - which means strawberry shortcake, one of my favorites. I was pretty good today otherwise, so I don't feel bad about it at all. An ok, but stressed out day today. It started with missing a deadline I had set for myself at work. Actually it started with waking at 5am which I hate but am glad of once I take the plunge. So I got to work early, which was good. Anyway... I had high hopes for exercise today, only to be shut out by an unexpected conflict in the evening hours. Somehow I got roped into being initiated into Tri Kappa, an Indiana sorority for adult women. I hope to meet new friends, but I was a little irritated by the trite readings they did and the singing, oh God the singing. Well, after an absence from my diet - due to an especially busy time at work - vegetables have made a return. Like a good girl I bought some veggies that I like to eat raw and cut them up on Sunday so that I could bring them for snacks during the week. And I no longer buy pre-bagged salad, because it goes bad so quickly. But obviously it's more work to cut it up, wash it, sping it, and bag it. But I did that Sunday too. Well today wasn't a total loss, but I am focusing on the fact that I ate a sloppy joe with cheese today and biscuits and gravy too! Exercise I did my Firm Sculpting tape today - lower and upper body. I haven't done that tape in a long while. My legs were so sore I feared they would give out. The upper body isn't as challenging, so next time I think I'll use heavier weights.
