Well, after an absence from my diet - due to an especially busy time at work - vegetables have made a return. Like a good girl I bought some veggies that I like to eat raw and cut them up on Sunday so that I could bring them for snacks during the week. And I no longer buy pre-bagged salad, because it goes bad so quickly. But obviously it's more work to cut it up, wash it, sping it, and bag it. But I did that Sunday too.
Food
Breakfast - Cottage cheese
Snack - Organic fig breakfast bar
Lunch - Lean pocket, raw vegetables
Snack - grapes
Dinner - Leftover sloppy joe with cheese, salad with low fat dressing (cheese and croutons)
Dessert - 3 fudge stripe cookies and a glass of organic 2% milk
Exercise
30 minutes on the elliptical, shoulders, back, biceps, triceps, abs. I just worked the areas that I didn't feel I worked enough doing my tape Sunday. Needless to say, I didn't do legs, but hoped my time running on the elliptical would not only give me my day's cardio workout but also stretch out my leg muscles a little. The workout felt particularly good. I did intervals on the elliptical, which was tough but great.
All in all, not too bad of a day...
